Another beauty salon slash spa review is due! This time it’s a recap of my experience at Machi Xinary, a city based spa located in Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus.
Disclaimer: This review was not sponsored in any way – I paid full price for the treatments and the salon was not incentivised in any way by my visit.

The spa is located inside a multi-use building on a main road in Nicosia on Prodromou 49 in Engomi. Engomi is a residential suburb which includes many embassies therefore it is home to many diplomats who live in large villas.
I booked the treatments at the end of 2022 via Fresha, an online platform which lets you view salon availability in real-time.
If you’re new here, then check out my other blog post in which I reviewed Suenso Spa in Limassol, also using the Fresha platform. It was a seamless experience as always and the venue receives your booking immediately, along with your contact information.
The treatments I had at Machi Xinary, Nicosia: eyebrow shaping (with Anthi) & foot spa treatment and nail polish (with Anthi)
As soon as I walked in, I was welcomed into an earthy inspired open space. The receptionist was smiley and friendly, and I noticed a sense of peace within the salon.

Anthi, my spa therapist, came across as attentive and hard-working – after shaping both eyebrows, she used a measuring tool to check they were as equal as possible. I was super pleased with the refined eyebrows, even though they were done with only tweezers. I couldn’t have asked for a more natural shape. I still look back at photos I took from that month, because the eyebrow shape was perfect for my face.
In the photo below, taken a few days after the eyebrow shaping, I used the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz® pencil in the shade Dark brown. It was easy to fill in my eyebrows, thanks to the template Anthi created for my eyebrows.

My experience at Machi Xinary was nothing short of exceptional. The attention to detail and cleanliness is remarkable, with spotless equipment and the use of a new foot file for each client – a reassuring sign of their commitment to maintaining impeccable hygiene standards. Anthi displayed a high level of professionalism throughout the pedicure treatment.
I paid just €13 for the eyebrow shaping, which was competitively priced and affordable for both locals and tourists alike. The €32 foot spa treatment proved to be an affordable luxury, offering a delightful experience without breaking the bank. The foot spa treatment itself was marvellous, using top-quality, clean products that further enhanced my experience.
Does Machi Xinary deserves its top-rated status?
Yes – it’s no surprise that Machi Xinary boasts over 1,000 five-star reviews on Fresha. I can wholeheartedly recommend this salon to anyone in search of a serene and clean environment for their next pedicure or spa treatment. Next time I’m in Nicosia, I will be booking in for a facial as I want to experience the other treatments here at the salon.
The combination of affordable pricing, impeccable cleanliness, and enjoyable treatments makes Machi Xinary an ideal choice for an affordable pampering session.
